[ Megatron here simply doesn't like being left in the dark. there are more answers out there and he likes to be properly informed so he can actually access the situation and come up with a solution that's more agreeable for him ( and now apparently those he feels somewhat responsible for ). ]

There was another host of aliens there. Wispy things, could avoid any attack. Except that it seemed that the more of us that attacked at once the harder it was for them to do it. They only have one physical vulnerability, in the chest.

[And thus it was like playing whack-a-mole with air elementals.]

Personally I'd like to hope so. They dragged us here after all. How can we help if we don't know what's going on?

Granted, I'd like to believe that they are not completely stupid now that they have been captured. They have nothing to lose by sharing information with us.

[Megatron can't see the cringe of sympathy but it's there; Drift knows exactly what that's like. He knows Megatron doesn't even need to get physical, his words are far more dangerous.]

If they do, there's gotta be a compelling reason to. Which...makes me want to know what that'd be even more.

[He frowns, liking this less and less. Being dragged into a different universe is one thing, but also dragged into someone else's conflict is doubly worse. He needs to get a sense of both sides to know if he's fighting for the right one.]
