[ Megatron here simply doesn't like being left in the dark. there are more answers out there and he likes to be properly informed so he can actually access the situation and come up with a solution that's more agreeable for him ( and now apparently those he feels somewhat responsible for ). ]

Oh, and Starscream. It would be a real pity if you decide to revisit one of your favorite pastimes. [ ha ha no it wouldn't. he'd love to tear your spark casing out if things got out of hand. maybe he'd even mount it on the wall for all to see. ...probably not. ]

You asked for skills. That's not the same thing as a profession.

We are a mechanical race from the planet Cybertron. Before it is asked or assumed, no. We were not created by anyone.

You get that a lot? Cultural differences. Most humans are used to mass-produced machines that don't have any autonomy.

[But Robbie's met a few incredibly advanced androids that really are individuals, so he doesn't much mind this reveal.]

I believe you. Jocasta wasn't a machine, but she was "mechanical". Anyone that can have a relationship is a person - human or otherwise - in my book. I might make the occasional can-opener attachment joke, but I razz everyone. And I'll quit it if it's taken too personally.

Either they are ill suited for the roll or their time hasn't come yet. I have met both... Usually it is as you say. All they desire is power.
