and then it passes because well yeah, hunger is not his favorite thing and neither are insistent pings. He pulls away a little shyly, gesturing at the counter and the cafeteria size quantity of jello.]
Uh, guess it's ready now. Why don't you do the honors? Just be careful, it's slippery.

[Right, Wing, stop thinking of slippery fluids in Drift's, uh, everything. He shakes that idea out of his processor, picking up the bowl, and pouring it in the convertor's intake, entranced at the way it jiggles and wobbles.]

[It kind of was everywhere, he's still finding it in unexpected places. AHEM. What he wouldn't give for an solvent bath or steam clean.]

How long will it take to convert? I'm not familiar with this model. [Or many models, really. Dispensing: yes. Converting: less so. Or at least it's been a long time. He shifts to the table and leans in though, peering after the jello, though maybe he just wants to be a little closer to that jet.]

Well I brought--
[Drift would stay as long as needed just to see the end result, and try his best to be as entertaining as possible in the meantime, in whatever ways he, uh, could be. However, the converter pings just as he holding up the datapad.]

[But Drift didn't have to bring anything but himself to be entertaining. There was still so much to catch up on, so much to learn about each other. But there was no rush for that. ]

I think, also, this jello is not difficult for it to convert.
